Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is processed on the public AVS website and in the candidate portal.

2. Public website

When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technical connection data, including your IP address, access time, requested URL, referrer URL, browser and device information, and HTTP status. This processing is used to provide the website securely and reliably and to analyse errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

The website runs on a VPS provided by Namecheap, Inc., USA. A transfer of personal data to the USA cannot be excluded. Further information about Namecheap’s privacy information and processing terms is available from Namecheap.

3. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you have given consent through our consent banner. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may also be processed by affiliated companies, including Google LLC in the USA.

We use the service to understand how the website is used and which content is helpful to visitors. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time through the privacy settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. Your choice is stored on your device. Google Analytics is not loaded until consent has been given.

4. Candidate portal

The separate candidate portal processes account data, profile information, translations and, where applicable, uploaded portraits so that candidates can manage their public profiles. Approved information is displayed on the AVS website.

Processing is carried out to provide the portal, publish information approved by candidates and secure the service. Login details are not displayed publicly. The portal is not tracked with Google Analytics.

5. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
